Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities :

1.Preparation of Datasheets / Specification / Requisition for Static Equipment i.e. pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers.

2.Preparation of Tech. Bid Evaluation of Vendor offers for Static Equipment.

3.Review Vendor drawings.

4.Prepare Design calculations for inhouse fabricated Static Eqpt, prepare MTO for estimation as well as fabrication purposes, review the Static Eqpt drawings prepared by designers.

5.Carryout out Fatigue Analysis where required (including Finite Element Analysis).

Qualifications:

1.Male / Female.

2.Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringShall have 6 – 8 years of experience in handling static equipment.

3.Oil and gas background will be added advantage.

4.Extensive hands-on experience in design, selection and engineering of static Equipment viz. pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers etc.

5.Shall be capable of independently producing design calculations and specifications, carrying out drawing reviews, preparing MTO for estimation as well as fabrication purposes.

6.Must be familiar with design codes ASME Sec VII Div.1, Div.2, PD 5500, API 620/650, TEMA and proficient with PV Elite, Code Calc., Compress, Tank, Fin glow etc.

7.Shall be also capable of carrying out fatigue analysis using stress analysis / FE Amethods and be familiar with FEM software packages.

8.Good knowledge of selection and specification of Materials is also essential.

9.Good command of English both written and spoken.
